Nancy Moseley Elementary
Nancy Moseley Elementary is located in the Pleasant Grove area of Dallas, Texas, at the corner of Haymarket Road and Alexanders Roads.
At Moseley, we have a commitment to serve and prepare every child who steps into our building with the tools necessary for college and career readiness. We do this by providing:
- A challenging curriculum for prekindergarten through fifth grade students;
- A safe and secure learning environment;
- A variety of enriching extracurricular programs;
- A positive support systems for families.
At Nancy Moseley Elementary, our keyword is "progress". With that in mind, we have a high-quality staff of teachers who work to build strong foundations for every child enrolled in our school.
Nancy Moseley Elementary was named in honor of the first elementary school supervisor in Dallas County, Nancy Dickerson Moseley. This school is fortunate to be named after such a great lady who did so much to raise the standards of education. Miss Moseley stood for excellence in school and in character. Her love of children stemmed from her love of goodness and truth. She was a professor at Southern Methodist University who taught teacher preparation courses. Moseley devoted her life to the education of elementary school students in the county and city of Dallas.
